There's a helluvalot more money in forging art than in forging posters. I'm sure any MOPOer worth their salt will have seen Orson Welles' wonderfully playful film-essay F For Fake about uber-forger Elmyr de Hory. If not, you should definitely give it a whirl. It's fascinating and Welles' final dazzling triumph (if you don't count the Paul Masson ads).
