MoPo Mystery Solved:
I've found out that then full name of the poster artist for such Buster Keaton
films as "The Cameraman", "Dough Boys", etc., was named: MALCOM EATON.
Always thought it was interesting that his name was so close to Keaton's. Hard
to find much on the gentleman other than he certainly worked for MGM in the 20s
and 30s and created both wonderful color poster artwork and very cool interior
pressbook artwork such as that for the 1932 film "Freaks." Did the gentleman
seeking the pressbook ever find it? Have some examples of his art for Keaton
films if anyone wants to see :) He's not Hirschfeld, but he's pretty damn good
too and was there for some of the best films so he has my utmost respect :)
