the Master of the World poster is Kallis
the monsterbrains page does have art by other artists there and some
posters where there are 2 artists represented on one poster (Kallis &
Brown, Kallis & Smith etc)
some of the variant sizes are by Joe Smith.
I would need to take some time and look at larger pictures, probably
from the Heritage website, but some of that is in my plans for the
coming months when I have time to get involved with it
Rich
ps: there is a Reynold Brown fan site that shows dozens of posters
and attributes them all to Brown. sadly, the page has many mistakes
and many pieces shown are by other artists.

This is a good resource,

Though whether all the illustrations attributed on there to Kallis
are accurate....
Also, contains links to pages from '88 Cinefantasique magazine
interview with Kallis.
As valuable as that is, there's still stuff that could be covered.
Kallis is still with us, (page has link to Kallis Foundation site),
and if he's amenable I'd have thought now would be the time to ask
any questions, or chances are much info will be lost forever.
(Including what it was like working for Bass!)

Cheers Richard, Kallis crossed my mind but I didn't know he was AIP
at the time, that's good info. There's no credit on the back of the
LP or on the usual websites.
I've a weird feeling that I've seen the key art used on an entirely
unrelated project to Master Of The World which is why it's bugging
me. If it has been used elsewhere, I guess that suggests an
external artist rather than someone in-house.

Decent chance the design was by Albert Kallis, who was art
director at AIP at that time. Believe he had overall
responsibility for print output, though that said, don't believe
he was necessarily the only art director.
Some he'd illustrate himself, or assign to artists like Brown,
(who certainly appears to have been used a lot) or another one
used was Joe Smith.
My eyes not attuned enough to tell from the style, but doesn't
look like a Kallis illustration to me, though that said he could
probably vary his style where necessary.

Hallo MOPO
Anyone know who designed the terrific 1sh for this Vincent Price
movie (see link)?
Looks a bit Reynold Brown-y.
Cheers
