It looks like Allied Artists printed a number of posters up before it was
decided to re-title the movie as Murder Is My Beat. Sounds more menacing. Arent
there other examples, especially of noir films, that did this kind of title
change, even tho posters had already been produced?

It's a great looking insert, regardless.

Subject: [MOPO] Murder is my Beat vs. Danger is My Beat

I have an insert poster for a film with Barbara Payton called Danger is my Beat
(Allied Artists 1955).  I've been trying to get information on it but the only
reference is what is obviously the same film but with the title Murder is My
Beat.  I can't find any reference to the film being released as Danger is my
Beat.

Does anyone here on MOPO know the story behind this mystery of this poster with
the unknown name?

Thanks, Channing Thomson
