As far as "survivors," besides De Havilland, Maureen O'Hara is still around, her career started in the late 1930s, and I think Doris Day still counts, her singing career started in the late 30s even though her first film wasn't until after WWII; she just turned 90 and to my surprise, the normally reclusive star actually made a big to-do about turning 90, having a big party near her home and everything. I love that woman. This is what 90 looks if you're Doris Day. ________________________________ Date: Mon, 7 Apr 2014 10:28:14 +0100 From: [email protected] Subject: Re: Mickey Rooney has passed away To: [email protected] Is there anyone of that era still left?
