*What YOU need to know about the "Heartbleed Bug" as it relates to eMoviePoster.com * If you have been following the news, you have surely recently read about what is being called the SSL Heartbleed Bug, which relates to a major vulnerability to hacking that was recently found in a huge number of online websites.
We at eMoviePoster.com want to let all of our customers know that we are not vulnerable to this bug as all the patches related to this have been installed on our website and server. Of course, ever since news of this bug was first made public on April 7th we have taken every precaution to ensure that all of our customers information has been kept secure and there is no evidence that any information was breeched in any way (and in addition, we *NEVER* store any of our customers' credit card information online). However we would like to remind all of our customers that it is considered wise to regularly change your passwords (at least every few months) on all sites you visit, in order to prevent any unauthorized access to your accounts. This is especially important if you use the same password from our site on other sites as well, since those other sites may have been compromised already or may still be vulnerable to the Heartbleed Bug (and you should ask them what they have done about this). If you change your password on another site that has not installed the patch, then that new password can of course be compromised, even more reason to use different passwords on every site.
