while prop fraud is huge, I would find it difficult to believe that
autograph fraud on ebay and some other laces puts other fraud to shame.
by some estimates, over 95% of autographed items on ebay are fake
right now there are at least 3 forgers who are pumping so much
material into the market that it boggles the mind.
One - known as the Valley Forger - probably puts a hundred or more
fakes into the market every week and has been active for almost 15 years
I believe he lives in Las Vegas right now and has for a decade or so

Props Andy Griffith Show Opie's Baseball | eBay
My AOL is working fine. I thought fraud was bad enough in the movie
poster hobby. I saw this auction for a regular baseball claimed to
be Opie's from 'The Andy Griffith Show" selling so high. Plus this
seller has other fake bogus props. The box camera went very high.
It's very sad. It seems like e-bay would put a stop to this.
