oui oui so true and if You mention mexican lobby cards reprints that contain Jerry lewis and Liberace ,, prepare for a all out hissy fit by russians and Romainians. There are just some things we need to keep under our hat on news groups.

Ok i was thinking today about reprints..because some dealers say we
sell
no reprints only originals..
when I opmnned my retail store in Toledo in Oct 1981 I had been
selling
mailorder from 77 -81 and i started mixing reprints for the sol
purpure of supplying peopel that liked movies but where not rich or
had
lots of expendable cash or realy gave a dam if it where ORIGINAL...
because they wanted lets say a monster movie poster or a clint east
wood... they would come in and say I have this idea i want to put
8x10s
on the wal a poster or two and have director chairs and film reels
on
the wal...OK.. well so then i started to add old type movie lights
and
decor that was price affordable again for average mainstream
public..
But I also served notable seriosu colectors and found rare vintage
items
too..as we not only carried reprints but vintage...I just didnt have
the
funds and knew little about bank loans as we where still kids when
we
stsrted people to this day think m dad stered the company as ive
been in
busines like 3 generations of peopel remember I quit school at 15 so
I
was working before most even finished high schooli was on the road
withJohnny and the hurricanes when I was 17,,in 73,, so in real
people
life im probably 80 myself..:) thats why Im cool if God is done with
me
here as I was given more then I ever imagined I could do.. But If Im

supposed to do more well Cool also.. my prioritie is to help people
and
the movie stuff I think can be my leverage tool.. as its not about
selling the highest price thing ,,, the sales to me are just fuel to
do
other things and I see this can help others let go of stuff which is
a
art form in itself... some people dont know where to start even me I

have to keepthinking whats the quickest way to get stuff gone or my
son
will have a mess on his hands ifI croak,,or i guess if it wasnt
repos a
small fortunes...:) but I always tell people buy what you love not
as a
investment but say to yourself do i need it? will i use it? or will
it
cramp my home and uses up resources .. what if you get ill?? have
you
left detain
led instructions?? I think each person shoulld write a data sheet on

each itewhere they bought who they bought from deatails on it like
original etc.. that way the family wont sell it for 50 cents at a
garage
sale or worse pitch it....Ive miss more things because they say that

crap we dumped it.... really bums me. but this guy I met was in he
right
thought he said I am 777 and feel its time to get rid of all my
sporst
stuff , movie and all and just want to see people get it thatwill
appreciate it like i did..and as we packed it up he explsined
details on
where he got things and all but some stuff hejustforgot where and
who
and when as the guys almost 80 so im sure things get pretty
convoluted,,, I am getity that way also our memry stores so much
stuff
from years its like a overloaded computer and thats why getting rid
of
thingsmake sesn...so i suggest modification.. downsize as its easier
to
maintain and you can see inmy case there is always more stuff..
peopel
die, divorce, sell off and you name it its perpetual... none of us
get
to kiepp anything really thats the crazy part we are all stewads..
thats all.. soI hope I can make some of life easier for you all and
less
stress and share whats helped me afer some severe life changes so
that
you all wont be so stressed..no body needsto be afraid as it happens
to
us all is what ive learned its just we need to kepp on trying,,
andlove
everyone we can and thats my best advice to stress reduction. and as

for stuff and aquasition.. as all theplayers in the economuics know
the
high stakes have high risks and is like musical chairs.. I like
warren
Buffets attitude..supplie a need and use common sense. water, food,
shelter, climate control, and mostly health are all topes all else is

fluff.. remember 100 years ago they did ok without cell phones and
cable,,and they seems to get places fine with horse and buggys.. and

they did well as we are all here because they just adapted to
everything..
