Is there enough in the collection to warrant a museum buying it? Has Morrie been discerning enough with his choices‎? A more encouraging situation for the sale if this collection, might have been to sell it four lots. With important material taking top lot. I can only see dealers being interested in this sale, maybe a group of them.

So.....if it does end up in a museum with little to no access by the public........how will that be any different than where it is stored now? I'm sure Morrie shows it to friends every now and then....but really, we are a tiny community (movie poster collectors). And I doubt he has collectors banging on his door every day wanting to see it.

If this goes to a museum, the collection will probably see public access on never-never day. Remember the final scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Each and every one of the large museums all over the world has a vault like that, with tons of treasures that may never see the light of day for another thousand years or so.

The best solution I can think of would be an investor who’s able and willing to OPEN a museum for this collection.

So here’s to all you big-money guys out in Mopo-Land: How does ‚The Morris Everett Jr. Movie Poster Museum‘ sound to you?

Just my two cents.

There is a chance that a museum who will ultimately make public access possible will buy the collection.
