Most of these posters where obtained on the date the film came out and
have ben in storage since...as you all know about 200 Iwas divorced and
then moved 2 times and so anoher 17 years wwen t by as i was ill and
didnt do much.. but i did sell a few things to stay alive,,,so now each
posters is like my family album slide show as i get too revist the
artists ,the memmories andthings realted like the wolcometo my nihtmare
alic cooper where i thought about meeting Alice in 1971-72 and then the
fact that drew struzan also was on the same path as he did art for some
of my fave films like that back to thefuture 3..is funny how movie
highlight our past and memories... guess thats why i am a movie
memrabilia dealer,,lol..
Its fun to me again almost more then when i started as i didnt know how
so many life experiences would affect me...thru movies and the people
where the best part like mopo and have to rand tech people and inventors
as all we are is memories..
im enjoying thinking maybe somene els who has passion for these
timecapsul prints will also enjoy that the old guy helped save them for
their passion...
thee so many posters im sure you all love..i have westerns, sci fi,
crime,swaord and sandles, adventur, classic, lots of forgien andhorror,
comedy, epics. well basicall the whoe history of Hollywood...not t man
silnets butsomesilent stuff and movie mags.and heavey on technical boks
on projection, andits all overwhelming to deal with 40 years of stuff
when i only have one eye thats working the right is 20/400 so im takig
it slow but the fun is here and when people are happy is my best
joy..thank You..
most of these i have not even looked at since 2000!!!!so they are real
andmost i got when the films opened as i started doing this in 1977 my
older stuff going back to 40s was from various lots i bough many from
old theaters and theater chains..and oother postedr deals when i started
...so thereis a lot of history im seeing its almost iektoo much eye
candy...!!!and also reflecs my entire life sincei was born..ill be 61
inaug so its like whats your life review...ralph edwards... LOL:)
