Personally, I see things much more from a dealer standpoint these days. A good part of my clients are decorators, who actually put the posters up on the wall and I like that. A lot. I used to collect comic books for a few years in the 1980s and I remember comic book collectors to be among the most anal breed around, condition being of utmost importance. This attitude has gone to such an extreme that it has become near impossible to sell a high priced comic book that has NOT been slabbed in plastic. Not my cup of tea. One thing I always liked about the movie poster hobby is that condition never was that important. Also, I actually like it that even many affordable movie posters are truly rare. And unlike comics, they were never produced for a mass market. Helmut Gesendet: Montag, 19. The poster business is not what it use to be and I actually think it pretty much sucks these days. If I bought extremely rare comic books the way I bought posters, I definitely would be much better off today. There are just so many more comic book collectors than movie poster collectors and even the rarest comics aren't that rare.
