Hi Tom, I did volunteer at a film archive in London for a while, although my main job was in the airline world. Your memory must be good, as I think I only mentioned it once years ago! For the last thirteen years or so I've been selling posters via my website movieposterstudio.com, but I've had to step back a bit from that for the last couple of years due to family bereavements etc. I'm most definitely a Brit and currently living in Guildford just outside of London. Greg's memory is pretty good too. Needless to say, as a guitar fanboy I was keen to grill Greg on his fascinating rock n roll past, whereas what he really wanted to talk about was posters! I started by mostly collecting Hitchcock in the 1980s, and then moved onto other areas like Bond, Powell/Pressburger, and other individual films that I loved from the 1930s onwards. Although I'd previously picked up a few handmade film posters from college almost accidentally just for wall decoration, my interest was really kick-started big time when I lived temporarily in Tulsa OK and chanced upon a memorabila dealer at a local fleamarket. Your comment about Garrard turntables made me realize the spelling of my surname is being inserted incorrectly at the top of the message reply - it should actually be 'GErrard' not 'GArrard'! That seems to have changed since I last posted to the group, so thanks for bringing it to my attention. You can call me Garrard though :) All Best,Paul Gerrard
