I'm not sure about most but as part of "the trade," I don't and haven't paid ANY SELLER FEES/ZERO/NONE/ZILCH/NADA to the two largest auction houses in the World. Both Sotheby's and Christie's and even to Bonham's.
And even if you do, remember that EVERYTHING is negotiable. Nothing is written in stone!!
