You are Right on all the way.. my compurter im on is my old 2005 I
bought new in 2006..it was wiped by mac cafeandi gave to Tommy my sioon
a few years ago..I had the 2012 or 2013 thatwent Black the apple store
saidwas to costly to fix and no parts are availible..as theywant tosell
new computters..I boughta outboard superdrivea few years ago never
hooked it u[p..allmy pic wereona sony mavica floppy drive andi havea usb
floppy reader- dont laugh..even thogh o [p[ixels i could load
andthecamera was ablee to take pix by auto focus,
I went toa a local shoop and paid the guy 20/00 to diagnose..he said
itwas thegraphivs cared!!
sothen myson said take it back as i boughton nov 3,,and so we took back
november 4th,,
aremarkable thing happened,.,My son has been dabbling in likead libbing
fixing TVs that he found onthe streeet ..like50 inch TVs that caost 1000
like4 K.. what he has been doingis a process of eleimination becaeue we
are both add/hd we think like ferrets..
so he rreseats the boards by flowing the solder ofthe
transistors..whenhe explained it i was shocked and saw this 35 yearold
had learned from You Tube..so in a way he was goingto electronics
school///i knew he took apart guitars and worked on Pick up re-wireing
and he worked on his volvo1985
but its been hit or midss..
But ilearned new things about my son wEo will be 36 on December
23,,,that mylittle boy is a man who like his dad has learned from
experience ,,Edison believe inthe montisorri method or being studentsof
others..so You tube shows guys diy trick to fix the impossible
Like all things in life sure he doesnt fix all of them as it can get
very complex he said like a puzzle
so the computer store said it would be too costly to replace the
graphics card and labor intense
Then Tommy said he replaced thehard drive in his and girlfriend zImacs
!!!
so he has seen theinterior i guess you need suction cups to remove the
screen anda thermo heat sensor as to reflow the graphi card and bake ina
oven!!! andputa heat sink paste onthe card..
he showed me a few videos and my Jaw dropped!!!
my Boy was a smart man !! I was so impressed as these young people are
very sensitive zHumans
meanwhile tha computer Guy had told me it was a 2015 i paid 299 plus the
20 plus Tax..i had given my vendorss numberso i would not get tax as i
am still a business and file taxes.. soit was to me potentially a biz
asset.. call it Hope that by a miracle ill be able to do ,ore beforei
croak..butive been in a holding pattern a few years now.
we all can have Hope and dreams
so whenwe took back we looked inthe box to make sure he gaveus back the
old unit then broughtin the 2013 withchipped screeenand said well can
you give us a better deal as they sell on ebayas low as 150 even 70.00
and at 2999 many have the ssl drive not theold drive
The guy said my policy is No refunds just store creditandill charge you
75 fee to do that..i said how about that other imac with high siera
which was whati had as it was the same..he wanted 279 he sai i give 60
days warrantty andima store not ebay..yeti knew thatmanty dealers offer
warrantty plus freeshipping and Tommy also did..btw my broke one was
from Ebay that i bought maybe10 years ago
so what shocked me was my son learned to negociateand stand his ground
with the dealer who was not seeming Honest or diplomatic
theni said i didntsee any sign and he neverssaid the deatils i didnt
even geta receiptas i admit i thought tha man was a good guyand
honest..my 77 yeartold friend took me ther so Tommy was not ther..so i
he said why did you Trust the man??
so after Tommy gave the man all his points of why he sould give mea
betterdeal or refund..I started to tell the guy mywar storied of how ive
treated customers for 46 yearts..how paramount gave mea 50K order of my
Movie real clock just becausei offerdto fix them free if they ever
failed..so comtron Videoused the clocks for Addams family inthe 1st
movie with Raulk Julia and Angela Huston..
because of that job for Paramount home video i was at Mcoermick placein

MY son said he was nervous and shakingas he defened me and the computer
deal...I was so proud as i sais you learned th art of negotiation andyou
stood for Truthand honesty..he said how come you are able to be calm???
i said you dont resort toanger,,,cussing and negative..you state your
facts,,you appeal to the person with options, and offer them ideas to
help[ them so they canlearn
be kind and try not to insult them but stick to facts so i hope my son
learned a new thingand will strengthen Him in Future and the man
relented and gve me a full refund
and I told Tommy find mea deal on EBay and ill get another one..and let
him experiment on my old one and learn how to replace the graphics card.

apple wants to sell new product not support old but perhaps they may
reconsider a program to helpthe accessability for elderly,poor and
disabled and make the products have more life..as i have bena apple
buyer since the early 80s?// i bought new the bluberrys like 5 of them
and the 1st was a pro 600 macintosh and ive had now 3 Imacs
the Adventure continues

but many artist like apples as they are geared towards people in
music or art
