Excellent point about artist’s representations vs. the designed-to-sell-a-ticket imperative. I collect pressbooks for variations in the designed-to-sell category.
But, I remember the first time I saw a Mondo (Perhaps that term - like the word Kleenex - can stand for all that came after) - It was Wow! - What an incredible idea! Why hadn’t someone thought of that before? My next thought was… How much is it going to cost me?! Is there a book on this material or a set of a finely printed boxed set of postcards (as was done for Hatch Show Prints) that would share a full selection of key art to enjoy?
