I imagine it is that when new individuals develop an interest in movie posters they turn to Facebook, Instagram etc and few manage to lock on to a listserv (even if they know what it is).
I am a relatively new member, perhaps 4-5 years, and find it a wonderful community and a great source of information that is a result of the depth and breadth of knowledge of the members.
