I have seen this a lot. Invaluable bids post at the close of the
auction. All other bids are previous bids. So, two bids of the
same amount means Invaluable bid loses.

There was a "Wasp Woman" half sheet that I was ready to go
to any financial lengths to get at Sunday's auction. I
glanced at the ending time before I went out for a hike
with my wife and thought, "Wow, 3:30? I can do that easily!"
3:30 CENTRAL Daylight Time. Not PDT, not EDT. I ran into
my office and the poster had gone for a price that I would
have matched. D'oh! The thrill of victory, the agony of
            defeat.
The big surprise to me was the 1959 Hammer "The Mummy"
half sheet that sold for 3K+. What made this title take a
            sudden spike?
