Unless Invaluable and you are both participating live (which means the bid is traveling through two platforms), it is basically a one-and-done bid that posts last. In my opinion, that platform should only be used if you are bidding to win and want to “snipe” the auction when you will not be available to bid live. It is always better to bid on a house platform. Almost all houses have some way to accommodate a bid (phone, live proxy, etc…) even when the bidder is not available to bid for themselves. They make their money based on the hammer price. They want the bids.
