I mailed posters in a secure tube to Bruce for him to auction (emovieposter).
It left my New Jersey post office on February 5. It was in UPS tracking system
on that date, with the next update on March 5. WOW....!!!
I was terrified that it got lost !!! Expensive stuff !!!! Tracking at USPS
is/was 9534616340775036001996 See for yourself.
My local post office did show one tracking update about February 11, but not on
the website. BUT TRACKING GAVE NO INFO AS TO WHERE THE POSTERS WERE, EXCEPT TO
SAY MOVING TO NEXT FACILITY.
My local post office people were nice. The 800 Number horrible: cold.
insensitive. After waiting on the phone 40 minutes, I was told to file a
claim.
On March 4, the package hit the system again. It took 4 days once in Missouri
to get to Bruce.
Between February 11 and March 4....................no updates !!!!
Words cannot express how upset I was. It is so hard to focus on the hobby and
buying new items when a package of high-priced posters got lost. I was
constantly checking tracking several times a day. So much anxiety.
I want to thank both Clark at emovieposter and Bruce for their support. Clark
was especially nice. They did ease the pain a bit. I was so relieved when
Clark at emovieposter wrote that he got the package.
