Yes, I noticed that, too. You’d think Julien’s, as a professional auction company, would do the work and provide complete condition reports. Especially considering how pricey the reserves appear to be on many of these items.
Hopefully any serious collectors have enough sense to ask for a more thorough condition report before bidding. But the lure of owning a real batarang may cause some to throw (condition) caution to the wind. This is definitely a “buyer beware” kind of auction.
