Quoting Ron Kulp Sept 19th:

>Thank you very much for the Turner/Roberts exchange it is much
appreciated.
>Your Matrix analogy is well noted,

I did have that mind.

>This is what I see as the difficulty in applying MOQ to scientific
>inquiry, MOQ really does not recognize its structure, it's kinda like
>trying to mesh a clock work system with hydraulics.

Ant McWatt asks:

Ron, could you further explain what you are trying to say here? Do you
mean the "meshing" of SOM with the MOQ?

Ron replies:
The difficult part seems to be to get science to
look at the psychology of the observer as well as the object of
observance this coupled with
the fact that science is emersed in s/o language, makes MOQ difficult to
apply. This is why I think
Bo's interpretation holds the ingredients for MOQ to be applied to
scientific method in a unification
theory that clears the muddy waters surrounding MOQ perception and
commonly accepted forms of logic.
This is why I thought Topos theory was so important, it tied Radical
Empiricism to logical method.
I feel the SOL interpretation would set MOQ on solid logical ground as
it relates to scientific method.

I feel confusing SOM with analytic logical method itself creates
difficulties, there may be a western
SOM interpretation and an eastern SOM interpretation which is described
by it's logical method.
To say SOM is strictly a greek perception is a bit absurd in my opinion.

>has been blazed before a point in the right direction in the archives
>would be helpful also (then I would'nt be rehashing the same stuff for
>you).

I'd look for the correspondence between Bodvar Skutvik and Paul Turner
about the SOLAQI (such as those posts from November 2005 pasted below).

Best wishes,

Anthony

Ron:
Thank you for the reference and your time.
