Peter, you didn't upset me. I knew it was your
point of view, and I wouldn't expect you to lie. I
respect straight-forwardness.
Griffing paintings are from one of my favorite
historical periods. The Amerindians were just coming
into contact with the Europeans in certain regions.
They were beginning to adopt the Europeans ways.
Cultures clashed, Europeans and Amerindians. This
period is the French and Indian War and immediately in
its' wake was Pontiac's War, which was a spiritual
uprising.
