Not at all. First, at the lower levels it would effect families making above
about $100K and I would suggest rates comparable with current income taxes
and they would only be taxed on the amount in excess of the cap. As for the
top 7% of earners who earn about 30% of all income I would suggest that they
either produce for the love of it or money is a means of keeping score. Do
you think Bill Gates would stop working if his tax rate increased? Would
Steven King stop writing?

We had to pass a constitutional amendment to allow an income tax at all. The
only way that amendment could pass is if it was clearly understood to be as
measure to fuck the rich. Incomer disparity between the richest and poorest
citizens is a serious social matter that has been worsening since the '70.
How average citizens like yourself got sold on the idea that the rich are
deserving of our sympathy and nurturing is a mystery to me.
