Thanks to all those that answered my request for a
helping hand. I think my troubles are over.
After trying several alternatives, the solution
appeared to be on the lines suggested by Craig and
Margarita. This is how it worked:
I went back from the new version of Yahoo Mail to
the old version. Once there I went to Options and
Compose Message. There are two Options: Compose
Message as color and graphics or Compose messages as
plain text.
I was using previously 'color and graphics' so I
switched to Plain Text. After that, no more endless
long lines. This not only when I typed messages
straight on Yahoo mail but even if I typed first in MS
Word and copied and pasted into Yahoo.
Even if I write long lines in MS Word and even
not using the Enter key the results were the same. So
it appears that the culprit was solely the "Compose
Message as Color and Graphics" option.
Plain Text Option means that I cannot use Italics
and Bolds, nor insert hyperlinks, but it seems a small
price to pay for the advantage of making my Posts more
reader-friendly.
To those that observed that those long, long
lines did not appear in their screens:
my Posts came 'normal width' in the e-mails listings
we receive back from MOQdiscuss but they were
'abnormal width' when they appeared in the MOQ
Archives.
