You got me there Gav ... I am also right eye dominant (indeed it's
official - I wear asymmetric contact lenses).

FWIW I don't believe right-brain / left-brain differences are "new-age
rubbish" but pretty general facts .... the brain as a system is more
effective if the two halves split their roles (which role is left,
which is right is not totally fixed - like not everyone has their
heart on the left, but the general asymmetry is real). Austin and
Pinker and Sacks have a fair bit about this I seem to recall.

As you suggest, the trick - of becoming enlightened - is to learn to
become aware of the value of your other non-domnant half - remembering
to make use of it.
