I reject that the intellectual level *emerged* at said time. I do *not*
reject that the intellectual level is involved in that process somehow,
(but I wouldn't involve SOM's S/O division).
Let me put it this way. The realization that an idea is different from
the thing it represents is a good, dynamic advancement. I also concur
that this advancement is made by the intellectual level. *But*, the
intellectual level has been around for eons when this first happened. To
realize that an idea is separate, you need an idea to begin with. And
that idea is also an intellectual pattern.
I asked Bo to consider this a few weeks ago, and offered to discuss a
compromise, but he never replied.
