We are too busy chasing our tail.
And the sad part is that we have fallen victim to an artificially created
market.

Here is an example. If you stop and think about it it's but a small
example of how I see western society, especially american society
operates.

Wheat as a whole, in moderate amounts, is good for you. Whole wheat bread
is better for you than white bread. But through conditioning, we have
become accustomed and demand white bread. in order to make white bread,
all kinds of goods are extracted from that bread. 

Well white bread is not exactly good for you, it lacks fiber. 
Laxatives and fiber enriched drinks to the rescue.

What's in all these laxatives? Fiber of course
Well the good stuff had been extracted out of the whole wheat bread to
make the bread white and yummy. Now you are having to pay for a fiber
laxative that you have chosen to omit in the first place from your diet.

On and on it goes.
