Various things.  Iron is differentiated from silver by properties
arising from their different atomic weight & atomic number.
Some gems are differentiated only by their color.  Steam is
differentiated from ice by its temperature (=motion of its

Hi Craig,

And don't you think properties like weight, atomic number, color and temperature are patterns of thought? It seems to me conceptual thought is responsible for the patterns of value that defined and maintain these properties. How am I wrong?
