This certain effect was caused by that cause?  Or all those 
causes?  And interconnected to all the causes behind them?  And 
interconnected to all those causes near them?  Causes connected to 
causes connected to causes...   Where's the cutoff?

Causality traces root and branch 
And etches rings in time between them. 

Causality is not a chain it is a web, a net. 
It's not a string of pearls. 
It's a jeweled veil. 
It isn't pool balls on velvet. 
It's numbered ping pong balls 
Air popped by a lottery commissioner.
