Yes, more like pushes and pulls than any patterns
really being DETERMINED. Even controlled experiments
struggle to create the unnatural cases of 100% probability.

This certain effect was caused by that cause?  Or all those causes?  And
interconnected to all the causes behind them?  And interconnected to all
those causes near them? Causes connected to causes connected to causes...
Where's the cutoff?
