Thanks Ian!!

sounds like he was moving toward Twilight language A polysemic language
and communication system associated with Tantric traditions that
includes visual communication, verbal communication and nonverbal
communication.

P.S.
what I find really intriguing about Nagarjuna is the concept of the "two
truths" which sounds like the abstract/concrete distinction.

"There are two entwined mindstreams according to the Two Truths, the absolute
and relative, that are ultimately non-dual."
This was famously rendered in his tetralemma with the logical propositions: X,
not X, X and not X, neither X nor not X. "The designable is ceased when the
range of thought is ceased".

"The Madhyamakakārikā's ultimate purpose, we should remember, was not to stake
out a sectarian position (a "dṛṣṭi", or "view"). Nāgārjuna repeatedly and
emphatically states that to make a "fixed view" of his teaching is to miss its
point. The purpose of the Madhyamakakārikā's short course in reasoning is
soteriological: to demonstrate the fallacy of clinging to views (or any
standpoint whatever, however valid or true) and, in so doing, to remove an
obstacle to enlightenment. For this reason it may be described as an
"anti-philosophy" as well as a philosophy in its own right.
