I don't think characterizing people's views as conservative/collectivist/ zenophobic/talk-radio, etc. is very enlightening. It leads to arguments such as: 1) Such-&-such a view is c/c/z/t. 2) C/c/z/t views are wrong. 3) :. Such-&-such a view is wrong.
