Land and mineral ownership being subject to eminent domain are not always
"easy cases" of common ownership. Case in point: the infamous New London
take over of private homes to benefit the tax base, an eminent domain
travesty upheld the Supreme Court. Also, the interpretation of "does not
harm others" presents a can of worms. Seems today everything one does with
one's property is accused of harming the environment or contributing to
global warming. But in general, I agree with your answers, especially the
right to own the product of your own efforts.

Strangely enough, I can find nothing in Pirsig's writings specifically
regarding property ownership or about the proper division between private
and public ownership. Neither can I figure how we might derive an MOQ
answer. For example, does the MOQ support the idea of intellectual
property? Copyright? Patent? If so, on what basis?

Would be interested in your thoughts. Thanks.
