Take a (new) look at the Newton example in ZAMM. Newton's theory
is considered to be a description of a phenomena called gravity that
has been from eternity, but Pirsig correctly asks where gravity was
before Newton? His point is that it arrived with Newton, but then
crystallized the present, future and PAST into its mold. This goes for
the MOQ too, we must not apply the old SOM view of the MOQ as a
subjective menu that describes an objective Quality food. It creates the
Quality Reality and crystallises everything - time included - in its
pattern. From this it follows that if the MOQ is an intellectual pattern
then all levels are "intellectual levels" ... along with the DQ, that goes
without saying

Bo

PS
It really follows that the MOQ can't be an intellectual pattern, but
enough for now.
