Marsha Nope. In Ct, and most states, there is an official State write-in list. If a voter writes-in someone not on the list, it is ignored.
[Krimel] I bow to your superior experience on this. It has never occurred to me to take the serious matter of voting frivolously by casting a write-in vote. I was unaware that the option was not available. [Marsha] But you are correct about taking the responsibility of citizenship seriously. For example, I called my Senators and Representative to complain about Treasury Secretary Paulson blacking out the Bailout Contract for Bank of New York. At least they know it hasn't gone unnoticed. [Krimel] I do not have the high level sense of civic duty that you have but I find these "principled" arguments to avoid civic responsibility to be beneath contempt. To hear the fools advocating this, taking the moral high ground is out right repulsive.
