Marsha,
This is what I'd like to discuss, what happened?
I see the pre-socratic philosophers getting
the ball rolling, the worship of Greek reason.
The literal translation of abstract concepts
produced the religeon you love to hate.
The road to hell IS paved with good intentions eh?
My main stress is on the pitfalls of rationalism, some here
use it to justify their stance on MoQ interpretation.
I would like to point out what the concequences of this
may be.
The MoQ could be just as nice a faire tale in the proper hands.
Ron,
I asked a small question.
I don't love to hate anything. "The MOQ supports religion but does
not support many Christian traditions." I do not like any of the
big three: Judaism, Christianity or the Muslim religion. I do not
consider any religion that that suppresses women worthy of
establishing moral values. But maybe you think differently. And I
think you had it right by the statement, 'the myth of rationality'.
I won't interrupt you again, at least not for a few days. I suppose
you answered my question the best you could.
Off to make a sauerbraten and Yule cookies.
Marsha
