Yes, I have been trashed quite a bit lately ;-}.
Andre:
Yes, you have been Ham...and rightly so but, do you know what I like about
the MoQ?...I am allowed to contadict myself, I am allowed to change my
mind,
the MoQ allows one to listen to others and be influenced by their
thoughts. It suggests an interpretation ...until a better one comes
along.
So, you are not allowed to "contradict yourself" or change your thinking
without the MoQ? That's odd, because I've never bought into the MoQ, yet
have changed my thinking many times.
What is it about Pirsig's Quality hierarchy that has freed your mind? Or is
it simply that you were previously bound to existentialism, religion, or
some other worldview?
Do you realise you are really a socialist at heart???
Judging by the triple question marks, I take it that this is meant to be a
profoundly challenging question. I'll admit I'm curious to know how you can
call me a socialist, considering that I'm usually characterized here, along
with Platt, as a right-wing conservative! Pray tell me what has led you to
this ridiculous assertion. Is it your way of getting back at me for calling
you an 'objectivist'?
Regards,
Ham
