All: I wrote a comment to the NY Times about the column entitled "The End of Philosophy" by David Brooks that I told you about. Out of 446 comments received the editors chose 11 to highlight, one of which was mine: I wrote:
"To those familiar with Robert Pirsig's "Metaphysics of Quality" as described in his novel "Lila," the idea that morality and experience are inseparable is old hat. "It's nice to see Mr. Brooks catching up, not to the end of philosophy, but to a new one based on the premise of a natural moral order. Mr. Brooks would do well to get up to speed by reading "Lila."
