Krimel to Andre:
And as I have said many times, I think it is a mistake to regard the
pre-intellectual as good, as freedom. I certainly do not think the static
quality is evil. In fact quite often dynamic is evil and static is the
ultimate good. If you reflect on this for very long I think you will see I
am right about this.

Andre,
Why do you think DQ is 'evil' ? Is it because it is unknown or is it because
it provides us , at every second of the day, with the opportunity to do
something quite different from existing patterns? Just asking and am
interested.

[Krimel]
I don't think DQ is 'evil' any more than I think it is 'Good'. Those terms
are of a different kind than static and dynamic. Static and dynamic are
value neutral terms. They are metaphysical terms in that they can be applied
to any set of relationships. Good and evil are relative terms. They speak of
probable outcomes among particular sets of relationships. My perceptions of
good and bad are entirely about whether things are good or bad for me.
Living things have evolved layers of capacity to discriminate good from bad.
But discrimination, as a process requires, the ability to loop time. It
requires the ability to link present circumstances to some past event and
the terms themselves describe some future outcome.

[Andre]
PS I am sorry I cannot fully respond to your post Krimel. Health problems
force me to lay low a bit at present. I am enjoying your posts.

[Krimel]
I'm sorry, you are feeling bad, but glad if my writing makes you feel any
better.
