His idea gathered him friends and like-minded people, forming a 'Party' and getting seats in local and state parliament. The 'idea' was of a nature a la Wilders...likeminded one-liners condemming all there is wrong but not offering a coherent set of ideas to ameliorate the situation. In their attempt to find it ( without the guidance of their leader) they started to quibble, argue, accuse, blame, contradict and what have you amongst themselves. Members of the party were found to have criminal records, links with ultra right-wing ideologies, falsified their backgrounds etc, etc. Ego's clashed with ego's and that is how they self-destructed. There is little of them left. Divided, individualistically you fall...it has nothing to do with politics. Predictions are that the same will happen to Wilders and his group. The only idea they have is that they are against something, expose weaknesses, put the blame on those in power and leave it at that. Even their front man, Wilders, does not give press conferences, nor interviews. His meetings are not to be recorded (radio or TV). Any person critical of his idea is barred from entering a debate.He delivers one-liners and plays into the hands of the populace holding populistic answers (ban them, throw them out, lock them up, close the borders, blame The Hague, burn the books etc, etc. It is all so easy.
