Well I came here originally looking for dialogue on James, to continue the
lifelong dialogue between James and MY new hero, Royce. Royce the
obscured, Royce the forgotten, Royce the lost cause. The more I study into
that dialogue, the more apparent the reasons for Royce's (and Pirsig's) lack
of acceptance by the academic philosophy world.

Tragedy? Interesting. Sometimes it takes just the tiniest bit of
intellectual affirmation to destroy a man's thinking entirely.

Probably the best possible thing I could say to anybody is "you need to
think that through a little more carefully" and the worst is, "I see that
you've got it all figured perfectly".
