Arlo to Andre:

"more permanent"... i like that... "permanence" is an illusion... everything
changes, somethings in microseconds, others over eons... one thing i
personally never liked about the word "static" is it can imply this
"permanence", but no "static pattern" is truly completely without change
over time, even if that change is imperceptible within a human lifetime, or
the span of human civilizations....

Andre:
Agree Arlo, perhaps I should have used Anthony's term 'stable' which does
convey the intention of that what is meant.
The well known 'You cannot step into the same river twice' applies but even
the emended 'You cannot step into the same river once, since it is changing
while you step' applies. However, when you get into this arguement you get
lost. It suggests that you have a preconceived idea of what river it is you
step in to or , for that matter you have stepped out of....the experience is
Dq/Sq. Let's keep it stable.

Cheers
Andre
