Marsha,
I'm talking about metaphysical conflict.  religious conflict seems to me to
be something that occurs between members of a religion or religions.  But
how do you call it religious conflict between religion and arrogant,
materialistic secularism?

I guess you could call it religious conflict if "arrogant, materialistic
secularism" is a religion.  Which I have done before, but not lately.
