Folks Like Platt I read newspapers and magazines and at times something is caught in my "quality net". Regrettably the Norwegian language will be useless to quote from so no link, but it was a biologist having written a book and had made a summary from it in a national newspaper. The point is that he claims that "biology" to be an independent/ separate "level" and NOT the "nature" part of (SOM's) nature/culture dichotomy. He actually used something very much like Pirsig's argument in LILA's regarding the biological evolution. See, there is a trend towards the MOQ's level matrix, the next will possibly be that "society" declares independence from SOM and then the stage is set for the ZAMM revolution where P. found that THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED SOM. The necessary realization for understanding the MOQ. There definitely is something brewing - stirring at least.
