Platt: One can only hope he holds to openness. But, as the global warming debacle illustrates, some science types turn a blind eye to any evidence that doesn't fit their precious theories. In fact, they will even go so far as to bury opposing evidence. Dawkin's contempt for and ridicule of beliefs other than his own suggests he is like that shabby sort.
