Hi Steve,
Is there something wrong with seeing it as a religion?
Does it mean that perhaps you have been fooled?
Religion gets a bad rap, logic is king.  Long live
the intellect!  It's the only real thing.  Religion does not
involve intellect, because it is wrong.

I do not think that there is much wrong with seeing
MoQ as a religion, it puts it in perspective.  I do not
want to worship false idols.

Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Steve:
You are correct that we can't make a distinction between the MOQ and
religion in terms of man-made/not man-made. Both are seen as being man
made and both perspectives think of themselves as discussing something
that is not merely human.

If we think of the MOQ as getting us in touch with something powerful
and non-human, then we MOQers are a religious bunch indeed. I think
Pirsig can be read that way, though that is not the way I would like
to read him.

Best,
Steve
