Suppose if I pull lever A, a train is diverted to a harmless side track. If I don't pull lever A, the train continues & runs over innocent bystanders. I don't see how "chance, probability, chaos, unexpected consequences, etc." are necessary to make my action free. If fact the opposite is true. Unless I have a reasonable expectation of what my choices are , I can not make a choice.
