No, I'd like to know that too. The Stanford encyclopedia probably has an
article. That'll go on my to-do list. If Pirsig's account of the sophists
counts as a history of perspectivism - and I think maybe it can - I've still
only read one. I only know that it is a word people use to describe Nietzsche
and the classical pragmatists. It very likely has ancient antecedents but if
Hickman is right it can also be thought of as post-postmodern.
