Not to be contrary..ok ya got me.. to be contrary, one might argue that the theory of evolution is nothing but the study of war, we exist as a direct ongoing war.. infinite conflicts..history is then the record of evolutionary wars which is what I believe Pirsig was attempting to explain from his viewpoint.
The martial artist would argue that harmony lies in the practice of the art.
