Ron, Ah but "attitude" has to do with direction you're facing. It's "altitude" that says how high you are. If you've got the right attitude, you're facing the right direction. You could be only a couple feet off the ground but if you're going up (a hot air balloon would work, there's plenty of hot air around here) that's good.
On the other hand, you could be miles above everybody else but if you've got a bad attitude, you're goin' down. In this metaphor, Aristotle's point about "unity, number or entity" is trying to define goodness by altitude - and he's right, that would cause some major philosophical problems. Whereas having Socrates love of wisdom, will only solve them.
